Sparrows Campsite offers a selection of fully furnished Bell tents set in their own privately-fenced areas in the campsites wildflower meadow.
Each Bell tent is fully furnished with beds, bedding and linens, all you have to bring is a towel! Perfect for anyone that wants to escape into nature whilst enjoying all the usual home comforts.
The campsite also offers a number of pitch-and-pay wild camping areas. If you have your own tent and camping equipment then all you have to do is book your pitch.

Sparrows Campsite was created out of the desire to provide a sanctuary from everyday life, the chance to slow down and reconnect with nature and the people you love. The campsite is set in the middle of the family farm where the owner Charlie spent a lot of his time exploring the woodlands and fields as a child, in fact the campsite meadow was the first place he ever went camping!
The campsite itself sits amongst a beautiful wildflower meadow, surrounded by old woodlands in the very heart of a working arable farm in the Essex countryside.
There are many things on offer not only from the campsite but farm itself. You can explore the lake and waterfall just a stone's throw away, walk around the neighbouring nature reserve or simply relax amongst the wildflower meadow in the summer sun.
The campsite is off-grid and takes as many eco-friendly measures as possible to lessen its impact on the local ecosystems and environment in general.
The campsite is only 1 hour from London and within easy striking distance from all the major towns in Essex making it very close to home yet you'll feel a million miles away.
